JediConsult assists business service providers in improving, expanding and marketing their services that are aimed at increasing the entrepreneurial know-how of owners and employees of micro, small and medium-sized businesses.
In MSME promotion and development terms, these services are often referred to as "Business Development Services" (BDS). Others refer to them as Business Services. Others yet again assign differing definitions and norms to these terms. See examples of these services under our menu heading "Business Services".
Business service providers comprise, amongst others, business consultants, entrepreneurship trainers, legal and financial specialists, accountants and bookkeepers, marketing, promotion and sales specialists, export promotion, export sales and trade fair professionals.
On organisational level they comprise private companies, sector associations, trade and industry associations, chambers of commerce and other non-government organisations that provide active services for their customers, member businesses, entrepreneurs and craftspeople. In many countries, government organisations also provide business development services.
The business service providers that we work with consider micro, small and medium-sized businesses an important market segment for their business service activities.
